星界系列中的《星界之战旗》（星界の戦旗）亚布帝国究竟是怎样的一个社会呢？亚布人自称为星之眷族，不到绝对万不得已时，他们绝不让自己的双脚踏上行星的地面。他们的一辈子都在宇宙飞船上生活——要么是战舰上、要么就是商船上。亚布人不象普通人类那样繁衍，他们通过基因工程制造自己的后代，都具有蓝发美颜抗衰老的特性。他们的军队制服有点中国风的味道——或者说更象是满族式样，而他们的文字又象是古巴比仑的锲形字，亚布语发音生硬很象是德语或某种北欧语言。总之一切似曾相似却又是以崭新的方式谋求生存之国度。。‘Soo-ah’ spends hellish days everyday due to dating violence of her live-in boyfriend, ‘Hyun-woo’. ‘Anuat’, a man full of mystery, stays by the side of her.
