However, Dillon is not Lane's only prey as his deal with the Devil has...。1964年，被错误路线下马的紫云山隧道工程重新启动，“硬骨头工程队”承担了这项艰巨的任务，队长鲁海不仅善于与天斗、与地斗，更善于与人斗。没条件创造条件也使工程启动。在当地群众的帮助下，他们解决了吃水和材料问题。反革命分子工程师陈克利用工程处长梁志祥制造混乱。施工开始后，又出现流沙，陈克借机挑动梁志祥提出少慢差费的绕过“铁路禁区”的方案。鲁海在辩论会上据理力争，坚决向“铁路禁区”宣战。陈克进一步制造塌方事故，把鲁海等七人埋在隧道里。鲁海设法向党委汇报所发现的敌情，党委领导大家抢救，七人安全脱险。后，梁志祥下令封闭隧道，想蒙混过关。鲁海用事实批判了他的错误思想，并揪出了陈克。在事实面前，梁志祥认识到自己的错误，于是上下团结一致，打通了紫云山隧道。。
