1939年，国军退出冀中战场，留下一批美军援助的军火及物资由留守人员张志强藏匿。战争愈发激烈，张志强见国军迟迟没有消息，决定将物资交付顽强抗日的八路军队伍。在与八路军游击队长叶凌青接头时，张志强被赶来的日军抓获，计划失败。日军在对张志强的审讯中未能获知这批物资的下落，只得将其秘密关押。为了尽快找到这批军火，八路军政委余向秋委派叶凌青设法获得日军信任，打入敌军内部，打探张志强的关押地点并设法营救他。从此，叶凌青与八路军战士开始了与日军寻找、争夺军火与物资的战斗。最终在八路军的领导与配合下，叶凌青和战友们赶在日军之前找到这批军火与物资，并一举歼灭了松井的日军中队，圆满完成了党和组织交办的任务。1940年秋，在党中央周密部署下，晋察冀八路军部队对日军展开全面反攻，史称百团大战。。Directed by: Saro Varjabedian Synopsis: Jimmy Baz, a down-and-out private-eye is reluctantly hired by the parents of a missing college aged boy to find their son.
