本片由著名京剧表演艺术家尚小云主演，系尚小云先生经过长期舞台实践，千锤百炼，逐步丰富提高，久为广大观众所赞美的两折戏：《昭君出塞》和《失子惊疯》。。从妖龙作乱开始，引出李修缘寻找降龙大师之旅，过程中他遇见了狐妖小九和伏虎，三人成功的降服了虎妖，却未找到降龙大师。在狐妖小九的相助下，终于找到一个可以帮忙的大师，殊不知真正能降服妖龙的就是李修缘自己，最后李修缘成功降服了妖龙，从妖龙体中取出了上古法器黑皇杖，然而这后面竟藏着一个惊天的阴谋……最终李修缘能否化身济公，与伏虎联手击败恶势力呢？。The Olivier Award-winning Mischief Theatre Company return to the small screen with their take on Dickens's famous festive fable.
