公关公司主管阿健（郑伊健 饰）无意中提出的举办下一届武林大会的主意获得客户肯定，并投入巨资要他办得漂漂亮亮。武林大会开始并没有引起各门派的兴趣，阿健只好去找连续3届的武林盟主大成寺，请求他们出赛。大成寺主持慧智承诺只要阿健到日本他的师弟石剑的武馆取回武林至尊的锦旗他就参赛。 阿健来到日本，巧遇了石剑的女儿安娜（杨千嬅 饰）。当阿健去到武馆讨要锦旗时，被误认为来踢馆。关键时刻幸得安娜相救，阿健骗安娜说武林大会会有好莱坞的导演来选角，因石剑有病在身，从小向往好莱坞的安娜独自带着锦旗与阿健回港参赛了。慧智遵守诺言也参赛了，这下引起江湖个各派的注意，纷纷来港参赛。武林大会就在浩浩荡荡的声势开幕了……。Marin is a young French woman living in New York City finds herself disconnected from her body, boyfriend and family.
