忠厚老实的老奎和儿子在改革的浪潮中下海了，开店不成，不甘心失败的老奎拿出积蓄买来一辆四十年代的“老爷车”开出租，但好不容易买回的车子竟然不能办理营运执照。这时，某特区的任总经理想用父子俩的车子开办旅游项目。父子俩在人生地不熟的特区，开着那辆老旧的汽车，上演了一幕幕既搞笑、又心酸的闹剧。。A comedy about a small New Jersey town on the night of Orson Welles' legendary 1938 "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast, which led millions of listeners to believe the U.S. was being invaded by Martians.。The story of two sisters who grew up on the fractious Irish border.
