故事发生在一个游乐场中，因飞车开关失灵导致飞车停不下来，此次事故让柳丁与明厚天丢掉了工作。范通和马经理是商场的领导却因喜欢贻芬而让柳丁与明厚天受尽苦头。随着商场的发展，商场中的商品总是不断的遭人偷窃，而柳丁与明厚天却被人陷害。果然不出董事长所料，商场被盗一事均是范通和马经理合伙而为。此次行动柳丁与明厚天获得大功，董事长升明厚天为科长，柳丁为商场经理，而此时的柳丁与明厚天却不辞而别找寻属于自己的真正生活。。电视台节目主持人孟怡与被辞退的照明工赵明亮偶然相遇、相识。在电视台举办的宝贝猜猜看节目中，赵明亮被人利用致使演播现场突然断电，价值百万的古瓶摔个粉碎，孟怡被炒了鱿鱼。 由于此事发生在文物局准备收购文物的前夕，引起公安部门的高度重视，他们派出侦察员姜峰展开秘密调查。孟怡和赵明亮也觉得事情蹊跷，决定查个水落石出。 三个人在暗查古瓶主人伍富家时相遇，并开始联手破案。他们扮成香港天下会将伍富心理防线攻破，幕后主使企图杀人灭口，不想未成露出马脚。神探三人组证据在手，在公安部门的配合下将贩卖文物的犯罪分子一网打尽，古瓶事件终于真相大白。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
