本剧改编自同名人气漫画，村上舞衣子（葵）24岁，以前从没恋爱过，在父亲的建议下，她决定去相亲。相亲对象花里晴海（竹财）今年44岁，离过一次婚。他们在相亲时萌生好感，于是仅仅约会三次后便决定结婚。。Tom Barnaby joins the Causton Chamber of Commerce trip to Brighton as he is suspicious of dodgy mayor Hicks' plan to buy coastal land on which to buy chalets. Also opposed to the plan is Lady Matilda William,who has had threatening letters, as have the local vicar, oily property developer Hugh Dalgleish and hotelier Jenny Russell.
