从第一集里的星球逃出之后，因为在逃杀人犯的身份，瑞迪克为了不断躲避赏金猎人的追捕，不断在各个星球之间游走，摆脱追捕。而整个宇宙，此时却笼罩在黑暗恐怖之中。一个名叫劳德·马歇尔的统治者，正打着宗教的旗号，在全宇宙展开侵略。因为在上一集里面所救的小女孩儿基拉不幸被囚禁在了一颗昼夜温差极大的星球上。为了救出她，瑞迪克不惜向赏金猎人低头，让他们将自己带到这颗星球的监狱里。在救出基拉的过程中，瑞迪克获得元素种族大使亚伦的帮助，并逐渐帮他找回了自己的身世之谜。原来，这场星际浩劫的挑起者劳德•马歇尔正是当年摧毁瑞迪克的星球的人。为了报仇，瑞迪克向星际之王发起了挑战……。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
