大学生青山霜介（横滨流星饰）在打工的地方与水墨画实现了命运的邂逅。霜介沉浸在深深的悲伤中，一幅用黑白两色描绘的水墨画在他面前展开，他的世界从此改变了。在巨匠筱田湖山（三浦友和饰）的邀请下，他走进了水墨画的世界。霜介虽然对仅用线条描绘的水墨画的世界感到困惑，但还是被深深吸引住了。。本片以实现全面脱贫，共同富裕的东坡村为背景，讲述了城市媳妇淑丹与丈夫世军为了发展家乡经济，回到了家乡东坡村，发展草编产业和文化建设工作，在家里婆媳二人因为观念不同，在家庭管理、生活习惯及孩子教育问题上，争执不断。。The story begins in today Istanbul, when a woman called Işık (Bade İşçil) arrives at an old house.
