1939年，日军占领扬州，到处强抢，虐杀，扬州有一艺人，人称“飞刀”，常和小妹在街头卖艺。不料日本鬼子见色起淫心，小妹百般无奈投河自尽。飞刀悲愤扬起飞刀，刺杀日军无数，但寡不敌众，万分危急时，一伙蒙面人从天而降，救出飞刀。 仙女镇有一营长叫刘瞎子，原是响马出身，杀富济贫，因不肯投降日军，日军占其寨烧其营奸其妻女，刘瞎子率部下投奔韩得勒，扎驻仙女镇。扬州自古出美女。镇上就有一对美若天仙的姐妹花。姐姐阿莲，妹妹荷花，开着酒栈，和奸商，地痞，特务周旋，苦中作乐。一日晚，阿莲去外地进酒，喝得大醉的刘瞎子强暴了睡梦中的荷花。阿莲回来知情，悔恨交加……情欲之下刘瞎子再次去找荷花，要强娶为妻，荷花怒斥，撕打中，飞刀来到，二人争夺荷花，刘瞎子恼羞成怒，掏枪射击飞刀，飞刀出刀直射刘瞎子咽喉……而此时，日本鬼子也虐杀到此，荷花为了掩护飞刀挺身迎向日军……。An oil company is drilling in a small town and suddenly they face volcanic eruption.
