本片由三个小故事组成。 何倩美刚从外地返港，闲极无聊，拨电到旧居，怎料听电话的竟是自己；自此以后，她不断受电话困扰，从而揭发一宗命案。《寻》 杨丽及其丈夫何文田两人恩爱非常。但丽行动怪异，常拿菜刀切肉斩瓜，制造噪音，令邻居聋婆不胜其烦，聋婆对丽非常憎恶，于是打小人，却被田听见她咒骂丽，怒将聋杀死，丽亲眼见田害死人，不知如何是好。《离骚》 民近十年作同一个梦，他用尽方法亦解不开梦境之谜，后经女友梓介绍下，找到滥竽充数的玄学家静，静藉此敛财，胡说一通却误打误撞的说中了一切。由于民仍被梦境困扰，故而不断追寻真相，更纠缠于前世今生之中，终招致历史重演。。Architect Peter Ibbetson is hired by the Duke of Towers to design a building for him. Ibbetson discovers that the Duchess of Towers, Mary, is his now-grown childhood sweetheart. Their love revives, but Peter is sentenced to life in prison for an accidental killing. Mary comes to him in dreams and they are able to live out their romance in a dream world.。
