日军集中5万兵力对山东八路军根据地实施“铁壁合围”大扫荡，形势异常严峻。在敌众我寡的情势下，总部首长决定将部队、机关化整为零分批突围。祁政委为确保保育院安全，强行派在上次战斗中负重伤现在又急于返回战斗部队的“神枪手”赵大鲁前去协助保育院安全突围。但赵大鲁与保育院院长王维若在转移路线与如何管理孩子的问题发生了严重的分歧。经过一段时间的相处他渐渐的理解了王维若作为女人的伟大，王维若也逐渐体会到了赵大鲁的人格魅力。保育院在赵大鲁的带领下，历尽千辛万苦，几次死里逃生，终还是被日军包围。危机时刻，祁政委率领的骑兵营赶到营救，孩子们一个不少的与亲人团聚了。。This popular animated television cartoon featured two Stone Age families, the Flintstones and their neighbors, the Rubbles.
