In a fatal confrontation, Carlota's father falls dead to an accidental gun shot and the young lovers flee to the sun ens...。家华、蒋南、阿文、爱伦是多年前的大学同学，他们是两对关系密切的情侶；南是一个患有语言障碍的女孩子，家华不但沒有介意她的缺憾，反之更加被南的纯真、和蔼性格而吸引。但多年后的今天，家华与南的关系早已无疾而终，主要原因是南多年前的突然退学，及后甚至音讯全无。相反，阿文与爱伦依然走在一起，而且还一起经营了一间酒吧。 一天，家华在阿文的酒吧内重遇南；其实家华多年来心目中仍然惦记着南，但可惜的是家华身边已经有一个准备结婚的女友──Karen。其实南今次回来，与友人Ken及叔父肥佬是要进行一个计划。南安排Ken在Karen的设计公司工作，要求肥佬暗中监视家华和Karen，目的都是帮助南能够得到所有需要的资料……。
