本剧是根据一宗清代冤案而编著的。梁天来（张家辉）与凌贵兴（邵传勇）为表兄弟，两人起初感情甚笃，可惜后因兴垂涎被父卖入妓寨的冬梅（蔡晓仪）美色，而梅不肯作为兴之妾，逃至梁家，被来收留为婢，兴未能成其好事，故对来渐生芥蒂，并处处为难之....。The C.I.A. discovers a Russian plot to assassinate five defectives on the Christmas Day, but they do not know who they are. The defective Alex Holbeck is recruited in Paris by the C.I.A. and sent to East Berlin to steal the scrambler of the Enigma, the machine used by Soviet intelligence for communication. On arrival, Holbeck discovers that the K.G.B. and the East German govern...。
